Current legal frameworks are designed around physical damage—broken bones, financial loss, property destruction. But neurotech introduces new forms of harm that don’t fit neatly into these categories.

  • Emotional distress caused by faulty mood-regulation systems

  • Reputational harm from misinterpreted neural data
